Shiloh and I went on a brisk run this morning up the Sanitas Valley Trail. Thanks to my new layers, 30 degrees never felt so good. Looking forward to another winter storm coming our way later this week.

- Here are the bare facts: I am the mother of three boys (ages 14, 12 and 9); I've been married for 16 years to a handsome and generous soul, Grant; our family moved to Boulder in August, 2009, after 13 years in Southern California; we have come to Boulder for its green living, good public schools and healthy lifestyle. I started this blog for friends and family and for anyone else who may want a peek at one family's life in Boulder. In 2012, we completed a major remodel of a historic home in the Mapleton Hill Historic District. In early 2014, we started a project of converting our 1920s garage into an Owner's Accessory Unit (OAU).
