My prediction was all wrong last week when I thought we were clear of the schizophrenic mountain weather that typifies this time of year. While the damage isn't catastrophic, no on likes snow in May. Even my diehard cold weather loving son Carson thinks that it is utterly uncool to have snow in May.
Here are the bare facts: I am the mother of three boys (ages 14, 12 and 9); I've been married for 16 years to a handsome and generous soul, Grant; our family moved to Boulder in August, 2009, after 13 years in Southern California; we have come to Boulder for its green living, good public schools and healthy lifestyle. I started this blog for friends and family and for anyone else who may want a peek at one family's life in Boulder. In 2012, we completed a major remodel of a historic home in the Mapleton Hill Historic District. In early 2014, we started a project of converting our 1920s garage into an Owner's Accessory Unit (OAU).
